What to do if Youtube Ads don’t have the “Skip Ad” option on your computer
Google makes its revenue through Ads delivery on its products, and it won’t let you spoil that party.
Many Youtube users awoke in the past weekend to discover that they were unable to stop Youtube Ads from displaying (or skipping) when they clicked to watch any Youtube video.
It was soon discovered that the problem only occured to persons who have the AdBlock Plus software installed on their Chrome browser.
A 3 min ad? Really? I have adblock also how is this even possible? pic.twitter.com/3BmqZAGzIr

YouTube now treats ads as pre-videos on the site, and only the skip ad button is seen as an ad by adblock. GENIUS! Good job guys! 😀

So if you click to watch a Youtube video, and there is no “Skip Ad” option after the 5th second, you probably know what to do now.
It seems to be just a Chrome thing. According to Adblock, uninstalling the "YouTube" "app" resolves the issue.
