Dell Acquires EMC in Biggest Tech Deal Ever

Dell Computers just acquired EMC, a storage technology company for $67 billion in the biggest deal ever seen in the technology industry.

For those who have not heard of EMC, it provides data center storage for large companies and was previously being managed by VMWare which provides virtualization services for data centers.

Previously, the biggest deal was that of Broadcom and Avago which was for $37billion a few months ago in May 2015.

The deal includes a $33.15 per share deal for EMC‘s shares which is 28% above their Friday closing share price. Dell will own 70% of the company when the deal is completed.
