From 15 startups carefully selected from all over Sub-Saharan Africa, we present the winners of this year’s TechCrunch Startup Battlefield Africa.

Lori Systems – Best in Productivity & Utility Category; Best of Show

Lori Systems is a local startup based in Nairobi that is building a logistics platform to improve cargo transportation across Africa.

The company also handles invoicing, payment and tracking. It’s an all-in-one platform that leverages technology to solve logistics issues that every cargo logistics company have experienced before or still experiencing.

AgroCenta – Best in Social Good Category

AgroCenta is helping over 8,000 farmers to improve the agricultural value chain. Most especially small farmers in rural areas who are facing many challenges to accessing large markets. The startup is helping them cut out everything between them and large markets, thanks to an online marketplace.

SynCommerce – Best in Entertainment & Gaming Category

SynCommerce won the best prize in the category, which also included fashion. For those who run a small e-commerce business, you know that it can be painful to list your products on multiple e-commerce websites.

SynCommerce takes the stress off you by letting you list all your products on Shopify, eBay, Etsy, and soon BigCommerce and Amazon.

Congratulations to everyone.
