After four months of building their products and different rounds of elimination, the grand finale for the maiden edition of Saucecode Hackathon 2018 is here. This saturday, 10th of March 2018, Saucecode with support from Facebook, CC Hub and Budgit will crown the winning team.
The hackathon which launched last year has seen teams from different parts of Nigeria battle intensely for the ultimate prize. All the teams built solutions to problem statements within the three different categories: Education, Election and Corruption. A jury of renowned tech professionals from the Nigerian tech ecosystem will listen to the pitches, score and pick the winner.
The winning team gets a cash prize of 1,000 USD plus a ticket to Facebook’s F8 conference in California and Afrolynk’s startup conference in Berlin 2018.
The panel of Judges include Nkemdilim Begho (Founder Future Software Resources), Oluseun Onigbinde (Founder, Delivery Science), Femi Taiwo (CTO, INITS Technologies), Moses Acquah (Founder, Afrolynk) and Tunji Eleso (Managing Partner, Growth Capital).
